Pumpkin Burfi


  • Half kg Pumpkin; 200 gram Sugar; 200 gram Milk; 2 Tblspn Ghee; 2 Tblspn Corn Flour; 2 Tspn Cardmom Powder; Some Chopped Almonds


1) Wash and clean the pumpkin. Cut it and remove back cover as well as seeds. Now grate it. Heat ghee in a pan and add grated pumpkin.

2) Cook it for 10 minutes on low flame. Now add sugar, milk and again cook for 5 minutes. Now add corn flour, cardmom powder and chopped almonds. Cook well. When it will start leaving pan remove it in a greased plate. Allow it to cool in room temperature, afterwards keep in refrigerator for 15 minutes.

Now remove plate from refrigerator and cut the Burfi in Heart shape or desired shapes. You can use cookies cutter for it.
